Front Lines: Scouting Felucia...
Ok so this is my next vignette of my new series of vig's. Felucia as most of you know is a giant jungle consisting of various colourfull fungi and plant life. Now heres the moc.
I hope you like it! Please don't post comments on the quality of the pic's.

Re: Front Lines: Scouting Felucia...
Pretty good! I think that Felucia had a lot of giant bulb-like plants though. You had some pretty odd looking fungi, but it still looks great! Oh well, it is an MOC!
Where's Commander Thia?
Where's Commander Thia?
Re: Front Lines: Scouting Felucia...
I decided not to put him in this time, I thought people would be distracted by him(example: Troopa Daisy).
Re: Front Lines: Scouting Felucia...
The brown base of the MOC is a great idea, but try to add some more neon or colorful plants in there, besides most of them being green. Augh! I can't find anything else to critique! Nice job Xion!

Excellent use of that deathstar shield hologram and those Mars mission alien legs!
Re: Front Lines: Scouting Felucia...
WIN! This is one of the best Felucias I have seen. The undergrowth is not too small to be noticed but it isn't over the top. The alien legs are a great idea. I may need to borrow it for my own Felucia.

Re: Front Lines: Scouting Felucia...
I probably could have added a couple more plants but I decided not to because my big hands kept getting in there and breaking other parts of the moc.
Re: Front Lines: Scouting Felucia...
This is great, excellent piece usage. Like Luke said, I can't find anything bad about it. So what's next in the series?

Re: Front Lines: Scouting Felucia...
Like most of the ones I have seen, but still really well done. The plant growth is just right, and I love your troopers!
Re: Front Lines: Scouting Felucia...
Hey, CloneCommandoXion, I've noticed your pictures are usually a little fuzzy and have slight green tint. Are you using a webcam? If so try resetting to defaults and/or use a desk lamp near the MOC to increase the amount of light on it. This will cause the webcam to increase its shutter speed therefore giving you less blur. Or if you are using a hand held digital camera, and just not using the flash, try shooting with a tripod so you don't get as much blur. I also use the timer, when I don't use the flash, so that I don't shake the camera by pressing the button.

I'm using a digital camera, where can I get a tri pod? That would probably really improve my pic's.

Future Shop or Best Buy, even Wal-Mart.

$20-120 I'd aim for $20-60 unless you own a telescope already or a nice video camera.
You'll want one with extendable legs. The tiny ones are cool but often are useless for most photographers needs.

Re: Front Lines: Scouting Felucia...
1. Cool plants & tips
2. Nice use of trans green legs
3. Brown pieces look rough and sticking up. Aka not natural.
4. Note if you use one large piece of paper like poster board, and allow it to bow up against a wall, you can have a seamless back ground.

Re: Front Lines: Scouting Felucia...
Try to replace the brown with some darker color, and you might want to tune down the brightness of the plants, because Felucia was ravaged by war and chemicals, and was a bit darker.

Re: Front Lines: Scouting Felucia...
That part you pointed out Rook with the sand green plants. I didn't have a clue how else to stick those in the ground.
Re: Front Lines: Scouting Felucia...
The 2x1x1 with the hole in the centre is good but then put 1x1x(2/3) slopes on the side. Or build them in at the ground level instead of placing them on top of the ground level.
Re: Front Lines: Scouting Felucia...
I will remember that for next time. My next vig in the series will be a hoth like planet.
Re: Front Lines: Scouting Felucia...
Rhen Var? Or that one in that Clone Wars episode(I forgot the name).
I like the use of the alien legs on the plants! Pretty cool MOC!

Re: Front Lines: Scouting Felucia...
This is a very good Felucia set. I like the brown platform.
