Ax-wing
An interceptor for my faction. It has twin laser guns closely relating the L-s9.3 laser guns on the Tie/In, and a pair of specially designed ion guns made for freezing the systems of enemy fighters. Though the ion guns could also be used on other things like turret emplacements, ground vehicles, and artillery pieces, but it tended to not be very effective.
And do not call it a.......d*ck, I already blocked someone on flickr.

Re: Ax-wing
Why would we think it's a (Fill In The Blank)?
It's actually quite decent on the SNOT but a few mixed grays here and there.

Re: Ax-wing
Overall all I think it is a very decent MOC. I like the design. You should make the guns better or more noticible.

Unfortunately I completely ran out of bluish gray inverted slopes for the second wing. Well I had to block Karol Rabalski loves lego star wars for saying and I quote (WARNING) penis. Why would we think it's a (Fill In The Blank)?

Re: Ax-wing
Hey, it's a Di - Oh snap.
(Kidding of course)
Well, it's got some nice snot work, and it's overall pretty smooth, but I didn't like how the red slopes on the sides 'stood' out and the mixing of bleys. Otherwise, It's great.

Re: Ax-wing
Wow, this thing is pretty good but you know what would be better if you replaced the red with light gray.

Re: Ax-wing
I had no other colors then red to make it that long, but I plan on making a brick link order to make it a better color. I'll update it whenever that happens.

Re: Ax-wing
Dude, that looks like a duck.
This is actually a really neat ship. I think the red on the handle is actually the right color.

Re: Ax-wing
Pretty ax-like. Though that pilot is in for some G-force if he wants to spin around in that...

Re: Ax-wing
It is a nice fighter, and the snot is good. As others have said the red needs to go, and the wings look like the bat wing. Overall great job.

Re: Ax-wing
The shape is cool; the nose is a tad too long in my opinion. Shortening it would give it a more realistic design.
However, I think it'd look cool either as all red (i.e. making the "ax blade"/wings red) or as all grey (making the nose grey).
Guys, is it really fair to blame people for mixing greys? Not all of them can make brick orders, *points at several people*, but it's not like they're doing it on purpose. Yes, it decreases the quality of the MOC. However, the idea and the shape are two points out of three that this MOC covers as far as I'm concerned.

Actually 80-o I think mixing greys increases the creative options of the MOCer. With grebbles, next time you look under the hood of a car, note that all the parts aren't the same color/shade. Or it can look like the MOC has goten some "use." Such as the feet of a walker, or the cannons of a tank.
To the MOC: too long. In low altitude attacks, this is gonna be real slow to turn to engage a flanker. The G-forces would be too strong and the poilt most likely will black out. Look at it this way which is faster to turn a corner; a bus, or a VW Beatle? Make it sorter. And make the guns stand out a tad more. Other then that it's a well-made starfighter.
Re: Ax-wing
I like the middle design but I'm not to sure if I really like the wings. It looks a bit.........awkward. Other than that, it's great!
Re: Ax-wing
Overall, I think it is a good build. I am not the best at judging anything really.

Now wait just a minute: I wasn't discounting ALL uses of old/new greys. Of course they're good at changing the look of things: for example, rocks on a mountain. Some will probably be weathered with mud and whatnot, so the alternation in colors would no doubt help that.
