Nice fig, if you didn't edit the pic.

He edited it. I can tell the GIMP "Desaturate" any where.

Other than the edited helmet (I think it was the helmet) it is pretty cool.

Digital customizing is still customizing.

Not really. I could have easily made a crap fig. But instead I made an amazing one that looks real.

That's true, it looks real, but it still is a little bit less amazing knowing that it's not.

So are movies with CGI and special effects less amazing because they aren't real? No...

I find it cool, looked real except when I read the other comments about it being edited.

Very nice JJ. Very nice. The gray hood makes this minifigure. I'll nominate it if no one else does.

Thanks! I'm just trying to use a different technique that other good customizers use.

I'm not complaining. It's just that its basically the regular Red Guard (plus the staff) with a desaturated helmet. But if you put some CGI work (or sharpie doesn't matter) into the torso, then it would be much better.

Who cares that it is not real, it still looks great. It is a new kind of customizing, well still being purist.

@TB: Thanks for the feedback, I might sharpie a red guard design on the torso.

It's not "new" per se, rather an under-explored venue of customizing.

I think it's great, there's a reason for GIMP, you know. It's like saying not to edit lasers or sun flares, or whatever you put in your pictures.

Yea, and it's especially good for when you don't want to ruin a red guard helmet.

I actually like the way you made the weapon. As for the helmet though...........................

That actually is very nice CGI. One nitpick though, forgot the blade part in the shadow of the staff.

Yeah, because energy has a shadow.

The staff should be just a regular rod and a lightsaber on top of it plus it is grayish and it should be a blackish color.
