Problem is...it's not something new from Flare.

His last MOC....the clone something one looked like this one and the MOC before that (his Quarantine entry) looked like this too.

It's not impressive, if you have a good style feel free to over use it...but if the style is boring...then it is, well boring.

And In your own opinion is it boring? I'm curious what you think of it.

It's too plain...if you chaned the figs to skeletons and some knights it would look better....it's too plain for scifi, IMHO.

I think you over estimate the ability of ancient artisans. Everything in scifi isn't necessarily going to have a bunch of tubes and wires , for this type of Moc the amount of greebels fits the size just fine.

That's not what I mean...They don't look like aliens with night vision so they need some kind of lights, and the alien figs are too cartoony for Halo IMO.

I agree with Jens but if the aliens were less cartoony and had some ailen gun thing it would be better.

They are good purist figures, customizing might give them a better Halo look.

As for greebles, I side with the Tauntaun, it needs better detail. Sure, it could be a starting point in a battle that happens to be on a bridge with nothing on it, but that's no fun. (I am aware that my poor building skills give me no say in how to build, I'm just saying that some things might look better.)

You should put a couple of dead aliens on the floor and maybe vary their weapons or species

@Customizing King, you haven't been here long to know I don't customize my custom pieces.
I can see where I could add a crater or such. And not every battle was a blood bath.

@ Keylon, I could but some dead aliens on the floor. And IF you look CLOSELY there is a different race of the species in there. And bring it up to the Lego Group about making a 3rd squidy.

No, I agree with you that this is a small-arms fight, what I meant is that there should be some lampposts, litter, and some random pipes or circuits.
