Imperial Tie Fighter mini

I like the new star wars (non clonewars) section.
This is one of my older minis, but I'm still pretty happy with how it turned out.

This is one of the rare occasions that I sharpied a lego piece. Without it I couldn't tell which side was up.

Eh, the attachment of the wing is good, and the cockpit just can't improve anymore, but the wings... 'oh: So many studs.

Wow, looks great! Maybethe cockpit could have one more round of layering, but otherwise, good work.

Looks okay. I like the connection from the cockpit to the wings though.

Not bad, and the connection from the cockpit to the wings is very nice.

Well the wings and the connections I actually got from roguebantha. My main goal was to build a cockpit without using a 2x2 dish for the canopy, because I thought it was too big.

As for the studs on the wing I'm not sure there is a whole lot I can do about that.
It's an ok mini, but plenty of things aren't perfect.

The main body looks a tad undersized, but that's just me. Great work.

Do you care to elaborate? Please don't take this the wrong way, because I'm genuinely curious. I don't like using other people's designs, but in this instance I used roguebantha's wing design because I(not that I count for much) don't know of a better way to build them at this scale.

While typing this I tried tiling all the studs on the wings. I'll get a picture up and see what you guys think.

That should do it, the studs are the only bad thing about it.

I think you are right.

It looks a bit like tetris on the wings, and the wings are little weaker (nothing serious), but everything is studless now.
