mini Bubble Fighter

One of my most watched movies growing up, was Lost in Space.
I attempted building the Bubble Fighter from the opening sequence several times, but somehow what I built never looked anything like the B-wing esque ship in the movie(I attribute this to my inexperience, young age, and lack of reference material). This time I found a nice reference picture and the model actually resembles the real thing.

Awesome! I had this toy back when the movie came out and I love this concept fighter. I've got a pile of screenshots in my to moc folder. This is freaking amazing. Including the original "shark" paint job definitely shows off the skill you have acquired as a builder. <3

I never saw the movie, , but it looks awesome.

I was just wondering why? I know what it means.

Well sadly this fighter is only seen for the first five minutes, but it is a very cool five minutes. I just watched the opening scene again, and I'm going to see what I can do about building some of the other ships.
