Is "Decal Set" a sealant? I went to the hardware store and picked it up...hoping it to be sealant.

No it just helps to conform the decal to the item.
Sealant is like a gloss acrylic spray or paint.

Some of you may know that I'm going out of the Clone Wars theme decals almost completly if you looked at my recent decals up on Flickr. I'm kinda going into Military decals now...
Well... I was able to pop out a new decal using my vest design. I was inspired by the chracter Rook from Modern Warfare 2 when I made this.

Nice, but the knife looks too thick in comparison. to the body. It looks all compressed.

If you're talking about the handle, then yeah. I agree with you. I'll see what I can do about.

Yeah, the knife blade is way too thick, thin it out a little! Other then that, cool!

Oh please, LEGO is all about chubbyness!

I actually like the thickness of the knife. It gives it a more LEGO-ish feel, and we shouldn't really go overboard when it comes to customizing minifigures or else it becomes awkward.

I agree. The knife looks perfect right now, and decreasing the thickness would worsen the look.

Guys, do any of you know what type of printer you need for water slide decals, inkjet or laser?

You can use both kinds of printers. I currently use an inkjet, it works just fine. But laser printers are supposedly better but their more expensive.

Here is a decal I made for Squawk, using some of Dutch's version, this one is new and improved. With updated Legs, Arms, and Torso designs.


Credit for template and some of the decal, goes to Dutch.

The decals are nice, but they need to be all gray, instead of gray with a reddish lining. And it needs to be a bit more smooth.

I didn't catch that red. It's left over from the Fox design under it. It doesn't show on the figs.
Yes it's RL, it stands for Reconnaissance Legion.

I see two kinds of gray in your decals FYI.

First: Ghost Recon Future Soldier

I can't design my own template, so I decided to take Roaglaan's Ciras vest and make it more "Ghost Recon-like".


Made for SPIII pants and light grey arms.






And I made a CW 501st Jet-trooper. It's my first try on clone decals, credit to Dutch.

Hey, has anyone got an airborne troopers helmet decals? I really need the helmet design for my latest custom.
