Knight class-battle cruiser.
Next I took a shot at midi-scale! So here it is, the one and only Knight class-battle cruiser. It was never put into mass production, because of the costs, but it was the biggest cruiser to date. It is armed with 16 heavy cannons, and can hold a Venator in it's hanger bay. So here it is.

Minifig scale. Kthxbye. No, really, that is pretty darn cool. I like the city vig with it too, and all the use of the green is cool! Awesome!
Re: Knight class-battle cruiser.
Love the design! But it's uber blocky! It looks as if it would have trouble flying, is that why production got cancelled? No jk, but this is great Knight.

Thanks guys. I just thought since it's so massive it wouldn't be mass produced. Besides it would take 16 Venators to equal the length.

Yep, I wanted this thing to be massive.
@-667th I don't think I have enough white plates to do minifig scale.

Thanks, as for the colors I went with orange since it's my legion's color, and I just had a bunch of trans-green cheese around. I would have used trans-blue, but didn't have the right amount.

I really like the design, but the lime green color just does not look like republic colors, looks more like a different faction, but if you changed it to maybe a dark red, that would look really cool .

It's not lime green. It's trans-green.

Dude, why would it have trouble flying in a zero-gravity environment?CloneCommandoXion wrote:Love the design! But it's uber blocky! It looks as if it would have trouble flying, is that why production got cancelled? No jk, but this is great Knight.
It's a bit too thick for me, but I like the idea of a huge mothership.
Re: Knight class-battle cruiser.
The camera is making the orange look yellow;but thanks to that I find it looks better with a
yellow stripe than orange IMO. Overall it's a great mini-scale ship .

It has eight engines so it can fly. Just to add the city is not far away from the ship, the ship is almost on the ground.

Re: Knight class-battle cruiser.
So I take it an ARC-170 to scale next to this would be about one-fourth a stud?
The white and green gives me a warm-fuzzy-want-to-shout-"cute"-feeling and it is greatly built.

I think it would be more like 1/16, or even 1/32 of a stud.

Re: Knight class-battle cruiser.
Sorry, I mixed up my greens, but still, I would make it dark red with a bit of that orange still on there.

Re: Knight class-battle cruiser.
Looks pretty cool. but I don't like the front, because it's too blocky. Also that arm thingy above the bridge looks odd.
I like the idea though. Maybe light bluish grey with dark red for a more Republic-y look?

A one-fourth stud! I don't know how you will put other minis around it. They would be all off scale. Otherwise it is great.

Re: Knight class-battle cruiser.
That is a pretty awesome ship Knight. I can tell that the color is orange, but it looks yellow in the picture. I like the idea. If you did a mini-fig scale (which would be like impossible) it would be 160 feet long.

I doubt it. Because remember, the whole venator inside the hangar is only two studs long, and I'm sure a regular-sized Venator-class Star Destroyer can hold more than 8 ARC 170's.

Considering a Venator hangar force field thing is about 4 ARCs wide, and it's about 1/8th of the entire length of the Venator, so 4 ARCs are 1/4th of a stud, an ARC would be a 1/16 stud.
