Raptor-Class Hovercraft Empty Raptor-Class Hovercraft

Post by Axel Fri Apr 02, 2010 4:26 am

I haven't built a proper vehicle for a long time...so I'm getting a bit rusty.

The Raptor Class Hovercraft is a hovering vehicle with two large guns that are used to quickly take out infantry. The hovercraft is not suited for atmospheric flight, and can only be used in low altitudes.

Simply outstanding use of well placed greebling! For some strange reason it reminds me of the upper body of a mech, but that description really captures the mechanized feel I think you were trying to accomplish.

Small, chucky, lovable. Maybe you could try to make it fit together more, the individual parts clash and don't really flow into each other enough for my taste, but it's still very well done!

That was my little nitpick with it as well. I had originally intended to make it a walker, but I gave up working on the legs. It doesn't really work as anything besides a walker cockpit, but I felt the design was pretty nice, so I sort of added a few more pieces and made this.
