Trench Warfare

The side entrance to Hoth base is under attack! Lord Vader arrives to personally deal with the rebel scum!



My first ever vig and first ever attempt at a landscape. I usually stick to ships but this was a lot of fun to make.

Ah there's some tough competition. I like it! You've captured the feeling of a trench well, although I think the dark blue is out of place.

^Agreed about the blue.

This needs to be tiled to look more realistic.
But I love the chaos that's going on, and all the soldiers.
Props for using yellow faces instead of the usual fleshy suspects.

Good MOC too I like the arrangments to (of the slopes) its very effective, but like people said I don't like the blue.

A bit too many studs, but still, good job! I like the positioning of the figs and how you even included the hanger door.

As others have said, the blue has to go and so does the orange IMO.

Sometimes, Lego isn't went to be SNOT, and i think in the case of snow, you can get away with it. I like this a lot, the trenches look like trenches, and the battle looks like a battle. Also, the door, if your own design, is very nice.

This is great. The sliding door adds just that extra bit of detail, and so does the orange lead...pity it's not light bley.

On the colour, I was hoping to add a little variety to the scene as I found just the white and bleys rather bland.
I was more concerned about the placement of the figs and the sense of action then I was about the build itself. That is why it isn't built in my usual studless style.

Overall, very nice job! Like others said, the trench is great. My favorite part is the old, sad looking rebel about to be shot by a snowtrooper. Keep it up!

Good job, looks like it came straight out of Star Wars Battlefront 2, and DY, I don't see why it is such a problem to have yelow instead of fleshy faces.

Oh, sorry about that, but I have heard other people criticizing other people on here for using fleshy heads a few times.

This is quite a nice MOC, the slopes all seem to be put in the right place, and the trench has been done really nicely. On top of that, the door gives the feeling that there may be a building on the other side... great job on this MOC!

BTW, yellow heads for life! Unless of coarse TLC switches over to fleshies entirely and release all my old favourite heads.

I love the fact that you didn't use peachies. Yellows all the way! I love it. The scene is captured nicely. What's with all the hoth mocs?
