bl*c's Republic Tank (Contest Entry)

Well here is a Republic tank I whipped up in a few hours today. I really like it and I hope you enjoy it!

The B13-LC hover tank was used by the Republic against Separatist infantry. There are few that can take on this vehicle of destruction. Armed
with a turbolaser cannon similar to the SPHA-T, but at a smaller scale; AAT's found it difficult to avoid being blown up! The not so popular, but effective, tank also features two blasters that are mounted on its front sides, and a crew of three.

OK, so heres what I don't like about it:
1. The front is too blockish compared with the hover engines and the overall body
2. The inside is a little cramped (That's what you get for building before reading the rules)

Wow there are several things that I really like and a few things I don't.

Like:
1. "V" notch front view for driver.
2. Strong looking side engines.
3. Blue interior with contrasting orange sleeved clones.
4. Front view of grill.
5. Shape of main gun.

Dislike:
1. Gun is too thin towards the back end at the mounting point.
2. Studs on side of gun.
3. Flatten sides of tank.
4. Gun doesn't rotate.

Yeah, I tried to make the gun similar to This but at a smaller scale. I'll see what I can do.

I think I got it.

I like it outside of the stuff that you already know about it. My favorite is the engines as well.

Have you tried the canon without the pin? Just that small t opening?

I am not liking the technic pin at the end.

Try tiling the neck of the barrel or add grills to it to thicken it up a bit.

Nice. I really like the engines. The dark bley has a great greebled look next to the light bley.

I actually like the studs on the side of the cannon...

Good job, but it's spelled CANNON not canon. Canon is a job.

It would be great if the canon could rotate, but I love those thrusters and the hull of the tank.

The new gun looks swell! I take it you got inspiration from the SPHA-T?

As DP wisely noted, the engines are fabulous. They somehow make me think of the Serenity.

Yupp, it was based off of the SPHA-T. By Serenity, you mean This Thing right?

Good job, everything looks awesome on this thing, especially the updated gun!

The new laser us much better. Smoothing it out and making it rotate was a good idea. Love the hover legs?.
