Apocalypse Driller

So I was trying to build an Apoc vehicle but nothing really came out. So I tried to see if there was an actually LEGO set that I could Apoc-ify. Sure enough I give you the Apoc-ified Power Miners, Granite Grinder.





I also thought that just the Drill wasnt enough so I added the scoop accessory.

Nice vehicle. I like how there aren't any studs visible so it looks smooth and more realistic. Isn't that drill from Bionicles?

The rust part is good, but a grey for the front of the drill would look better than black.

If by that you mean NOT ENOUGH black.


@ MOC: I think having red AND brown is distracting. The red of the tanks and the red of the front lights, added to the brown touchups you added to give the appearance of rust plus the grey and black make this MOC a tad too multicolored for my liking. I'd take out the red tanks, at least, and make them grey, or better yet grey and brown. The red lights are fine as long as you change the color of the tanks.

I love the fact it actually works, I always love it when people change a set's theme.
