Darth Krayt
Darth Krayt, born A'Sharad Hett, was a Human male who served as a Jedi Knight in the waning days of the Galactic Republic. The son of legendary Jedi Knight Sharad Hett, he eventually became the Padawan of Jedi Masters Ki-Adi-Mundi, and later, An'ya Kuro. When he was only a teen, Sharad Hett was murdered by the Jedi assassin Aurra Sing, who was later defeated in a duel by a young A'Sharad Hett.
During the Clone Wars he served the Republic as a General, and established himself as a charismatic leader who often led his troops from the front. He eventually became friends with the young Anakin Skywalker and helped Anakin come to terms with the destruction which had been wrought by the galaxy-wide war. A'Sharad took part in key conflicts during the war such as the Battle of Boz Pity and Mission to Saleucami. He managed to survive the Clone Wars, and was one of the few Jedi known to have escaped the Great Jedi Purge in 19 BBY.
A'Sharad Hett eventually made his way back to his homeworld of Tatooine where he vowed to wage a private war against the new Galactic Empire. However, after a confrontation with Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, he was exiled from Tatooine and later discovered that it was Anakin Skywalker who became the Sith Lord Darth Vader, who had aided in the annihilation of the Jedi Order. A'Sharad blamed himself for the destruction of the Jedi Order and became a bounty hunter. During one of his missions, he found himself on Korriban, where he trained as a Sith under the tutelage of the Dark Lord XoXaan. Hett eventually fell to the dark side after capture and torture by the Yuuzhan Vong and soon proclaimed himself Dread Lord and Dark Lord of the Sith, taking the name "Darth Krayt". As Krayt, he became the founder and leader of the One Sith.
Re: Darth Krayt
Wow Eclipse this is a great minifig. Where did you get the helmet and spikes from or did you make them?

Eclipse you have amazed me once again, how you make such minifigures is beyond me. Great minifig and I'm loving the spiked helmet.

Eclipse, minifigure of the month should just be called "Eclipse's minifigs"! Amazing stuff right there!

Re: Darth Krayt
Very cool, and accurate.
Nice work with the helmet, that must have taken some time.
Do you plan on making him before he was a sith, his mask looked pretty sweet.

Re: Darth Krayt
This is one of the best custom minifigs I have seen to date. My real question is how did you make the helmet and lightsaber hilts?

Re: Darth Krayt
Light saber is a secret sorry. But the helmet is made out of the skull twins helmet and some of those Lego horns/claws with some milliput for the added details on the front and back.
If it were up to me I would be making all (everyone) of the canon characters. But I am only one person and there are 1000's of years of characters. We will see though. It will be hard to top this.
Knight, thanks for that compliment. Well not the name change but the domination of that spot... and maybe some time in the distant future when LegoRev, you and some of the rest of the awesome builders are swamped with finals or midterms, maybe then I can take the MOC of the month as well.
Everything on him minus the head, torso, legs are customized. Who knows he may see another revision in the future.
Thanks all!

I actually kind of agree with that I think its because of that funny metallic greyish colour.
On the fig its okay, I personally don't like it as much as your red coloured figs, but the only thing that I don't like is the spikes sticking out of the helmet some are in the exact place as the opposite side, but I guess that's just me, I'm really picky and I like things symmetrical.

Yeah its supposed to be more organic then symmetrical.
Thanks again all... megabloks got nothing on this.
Re: Darth Krayt
Hey I just noticed, the helmit looks kind of like a bug, has the pinchers and stuff too.
Re: Darth Krayt
Well eclipse, can you at least tell me what the blades were made out of? I got it from there.

That looks pretty cool. I have yet to see how you top that. And Krayt is a type of Star Wars dragon, right?

From what I learned on flickr, yeah. He named himself that since his species feared/hated the krayt dragon.

How the heck do you do this?! Every minifig you make is amazing.

Saw this on Flickr early today and fell in love with the gauntlets and whatnot. Spectacular job once again eclipse! I am always surprised at your moding abilities and can't wait to make a trade with you in the future!

Re: Darth Krayt
Only thing I dislike about this is the shoulders; they should be a bit bulkier and larger.
Aside from that little nitpick, the custom parts are excellent.

That is really awesome! I like how you made the spikes on the sides and the mask as well. Good job!
