I was planning on doing a Slave I style ship attached to the Tail Array: Exterior, but sadly I've about run out of dark grey and black plates.

Nah my Venator was the best. This is just for fun. Needed a big stall project for Fall 2010, thus part of the title of the thread. I think I already have a rough idea of what I'm going to do next Fall. But I'll have to see. I'm thinking more and more about building in the 2-3 foot range/size (around 100 studs long). When I go over 150 studs I start running out of pieces and I think I can do some cooler looking stuff by keeping it smaller. I just had to go big on this one because my mom as coming home for Christmas with her new husband. So when he walks into the Lego room I don't want him go, “Oh look little Lego ships, neato. ” I want him to go, "$%^$&$, $$&%), @%#$%!!! "

I have an idea Rook. Have you ever played or heard the game Empire at War: Forces of Corruption? Well, in the game, there's these big Zann Consortium Cruisers called the Aggressor-class Destroyer and Keldabe-class Battleship. I was thinking that if one of those could be your next Fall Project? It would be really cool to see one of these in legos.

Yeah I had couple weekdays in there that I partially off because of medical appointments. So I'd take a half day for medical appoints and the appointment would only take 1-2 hours. Business is picking up too for my wife as we move into the holiday shopping which means I have evenings home alone with plenty of time to build. But I've got about 8 days until my mom gets here so I'll have to push hard the next few days if going to get done before New Years.

Ah I was mildly sick the last two days had a slight cold (a 4 on scale of 1 to 10) and took 2 days off work. Probably should have taken today off too but today is our office Christmas party and I didn’t want to miss it. But never the less I’m much closer to completion. Good thing too. I don’t think I would have finished it before Christmas without those two days. I still might not get totally finished until Jan. 1. But at least the exterior is basically complete minus some greebles on the tail and a fee minor greebles here and there.
