Earth Bender
As the Fire Nation tries to reach their goal of conquest, the Earth Nation doesn't stand down without a fight.
Just a little vig I made to stop my non-activeness, not much; and my pathetic entry for the BrickArms Sand Contest, 'cause I don't think anyone thought of Avatar for the elements contests. Hope you like it.
Thanks!

Re: Earth Bender
I love Avatar! I think this depicts it pretty well too. If you could create a bigger background or scene, it would be epic.
Re: Earth Bender
Why is there a poncho on the ground?
Pretty good, though.

Looks like swirling sand to me.
Anyways, I like the column of sand and the fence. Nice little vig to help break out of a dry streak.

Re: Earth Bender
Would be cool to make another scene with this and have the guy get hit with the sand.
Re: Earth Bender
I really like this MOC! The sand is really cool! I gave a more detailed comment over on lswforum.net
Re: Earth Bender
Wow, you actually made an Avatar MOC? Really?
Not that I'm complaining.

Yeah, that's what it was intended to be. Thanks you two.Comrade Faie wrote:danester man wrote:Why is there a poncho on the ground?

And thanks everyone else! Appreciate the comments.
Re: Earth Bender
Nitpicks first, things I find good second;
1) The fire nation guy's fire dagger is too long IMO. If you just did it with one fire piece, it would look better.
2) A poncho? Seriously?
3) The fence is really out of place; It's in the desert (At least it looks like it is).
Now for pros.
First of all, I love how this scene takes place. Fire nation guy running up to him, about to be hit with some sand... Great!
Then, I also like the purist earth bender. Really nice. But what does it for me is the terrain. I like the small rocks sticking up out of the sand, adds some great texture!
