Old Republic Trooper-WIP
I decided to take some quick pics of my Old Republic Trooper. He still needs his dark-red Arealight sunvisor, and a shoulder pauldron, but other-wise he's nearly finished! I made the decals myself (took me about 5 hours on and off), and the acrylic sealer just dried. What do you guys think?
Here he is with an old Arealight freebie, and a custom blaster.:
C&C welcome!

Nice! Hmmmm.... it looks familiar. I like your decals allot better than mine. They seem neater. Anyway nice job.
Re: Old Republic Trooper-WIP
The lower half of the helmet doesn't look too good, but everything else looks great!

@ CCjay: Thanks! I don't think I saw you decal.
@T_C_O: Yes, on some of my figures. It helps the decals apply better, makes them water resistant, and makes them look better.
@ Justin: Same here, it was the only part I wasn't happy about.
Thanks guys!

I think that you made the decal design really well. I too, don't really appreciate the lower bit of the helmet. I think the rest is pretty good.
Re: Old Republic Trooper-WIP
The helmet was bugging me, so I remade it. I had to use a little white paint, but it looks better now.
Re: Old Republic Trooper-WIP
Just pointing this out but this is a sticker, not a decal.
I like the design, but as others have said the lower part of the helmet doesn't look too good.
Why do you use sealant though? Is it really easier to apply?

It's label paper, not stickers. Similar, but not the same. I use a simple sealant that, doesn't make it easiery to apply, it just helps them to apply better.DarthPineapple wrote:Just pointing this out but this is a sticker, not a decal.
