Re: Raxus Prime
I like where this is going, but it looks too cluttered. Raxus Prime had lots of big wrecked things and some random parts and droid bodies. Most Raxus Prime's are simply a greebled baseplate like this. I suggest creating some bigger wreckage and making that river stand out more.
Re: Raxus Prime
It's OK, just spread the clones apart a bit, they're not droids...

Re: Raxus Prime
It's a start, but there's a way to organise that chaos into something that looks a little better. For example you could place wreckages in certian areas like at the corners or have one main recognisable wreck in the middle for example.
It's hard to explain this "organised mess" but I hope I'm getting my point across
Also, in the way the figs are set up, add a little variety, not just the two sides standing in a line shooting at eachother. Oh and is that your sig fig I see?

Re: Raxus Prime
This is a start, but it is much to cluttered. I suggest either making the MOC bigger or taking some things out.

Thanks for the advice. I'll take it on board and later, there will be an even better version. Stay tuned

Re: Raxus Prime
I myself am working on a Raxus Prime MOC, and what I've learned is big smashed vehicles/junk is very important. It will make it stand out from all those 16x16 greebled base plates, as Tac said. Layering the ground, and elevating junk in areas is also important to make a good Raxus Prime MOC a great one. It's a good start, and I look forward to see where this goes.

Here's some advice. (maybe)
Take a Star Wars set and take a part of it and add it to the MOC!

Re: Raxus Prime
Interesting. However, the Darth Head bothers me, and I disagree with stormtroopertj. It would look plain weird.

That's the lazy way of building and it will be real obvious.
It's an alright build but the camera shots need to be tighter on the action so we don't see the side of the baseplate or the 2x2 with the eye.

Re: Raxus Prime
It is OK, but the comments above would definately help you make a better MOC. I think the posters before me have said it all.

Also, add some geebles to it.
Well, anyways, great job. Just to crowded.
Keep on bricking! Good luck on the contest.
Re: Raxus Prime
Looks way too cluttered and some of the junk looks like its not stuck on properly. I suggest trying to make the junk so that its all connected and doesn't come off easily.
Re: Raxus Prime
Again, thanks for the help. I've already begun the planning for a bigger better version based on your advise.

I like it.
I like it. It's a pretty good start but the clone are too close together.

Clones still use swarm tactics. Watch episode 3 and pay close attention to the battles in the backgrounds of various scenes. Besides the occasional ARC Trooper, ARF Trooper, or Commander, Clones are pretty much expendable.

Re: Raxus Prime
Well it is suppose to be Raxus Prime, so I guess it's ok. But personally I've only seen about 2 or 3 Raxus Prime MOCs (on TBB Flickr pool I believe) that were any good. Most of time it just looks like a poorly built battle scene, that you see a lot of young builders building. That being said, your first two MOCs were excellent, so I assume you invested the same amount of time and energy into this one as well. I'm just almost never a fan of the Raxus Prime MOCs.
Maybe clear out the yellow and red bricks then use grays or browns and reshoot.
PS: I've personally avoided making a Raxus Prime MOC because I believe it is one of the hardest subject matters. Building ordered Chaos is not an easy task.
