Dawn of Rook's PDC Sub-Faction

Planet: Cyras

Species: Cyrion
Humanoid Species noted for their longer limbs then humans. Increased sensitivity to shades of color and beyond standard spectrum of vision for most humanoid species. Their keen sense of sight makes them sharp shooters and increase depth perception makes them an almost even match to Jedi Knights in hand to hand combat (while on their home planet).

Occupation: Lt. First Class in Her goddess Cyra’s Planetary Army

Planet: Cyras
This planet is on the dark the side of large gas planet in a solar system, near the Bastion System, past the end of the Braxant Run. The planet is lit by 3 primary moons, with all three moons creating a “day” and with a feeling of almost eternal twilight. However there several times per standard year in which there are 3 full lunar eclipses combining to form a New Moons and leaving the planet in complete darkness. Thus the planet is know for it’s unusual wild life including the bioluminescent flocks of avian reptiles that fill sky during dusk as they hunt for insectoid prey.

Names of Planet’s Moons:
Snow Moon: The primary moon is an ice moon with broad endless fields of snow. Spires of ancient snow covered mountains. And deep chasms of ice filled glaciers. It reflects a burning white light on the planet. The a few mining colonies but the noon is mainly uninhabited.

Sand Moon: The secondary moon is a dry moon with waves moving dunes of sand. There are a few mountains that appear from time to time with the shifting of the sands. It reflects a soft amber light on the planet and accounts for most of the light at dusk.

Water Moon: The tertiary moon is a vast liquid moon many species of aquatic life. There are several notable islands that tend to attract tourists form the planet. It reflects a pearl blue light on the planet and accounts for most of the light at night.

I dig the Crystal Light Speeder. Think the bulkiness of it really adds something. As I said a week ago, I'm going to have to start playing around with this tron-esque theme you've delved into.

Rook you never fail I love all of these. I really like the light up parts.

Yeah, I'm rewatching a few more minutes of Tron Legacy (and Avatar) each day on my iPhone. Really taking time to examine the lighting, shapes, colors, reflects, and general style without making "Tron MOCs".

I really look forward to what you do with this sub-theme you've created. The Tron meets SW vibe works really well. I can't wait for more of these!

Well we would have had a lot more of these MOCs this week but Lego Store had a pretty poor selection of PaB. So I'll have to continue to shop online instead.

Agreed. Making it have that rounded look to it on the side is a really nice touch.

Yeah I'm not a PDC member this cycle so I've posted my new Corps Faction here until next cycle when it can get moved.

Ah finally getting ready to some more building these next week. So off to these shred box for these guys. But before they go I had to get a group shot in.

Wait you leaving the SSC. And yet you are still using a Sith. I am confused.

I'm working on the back story for Darth PLUR, while she's still "good" AKA Lt. Cay-O. And I'm still working out the white & black uniforms. I'm thinking for her she'll wear both. White in "formal uniform" and "black in combat uniform". Where as Master Rook was in white as a Jedi and in Black as a Sith. And even then as he teeters on plunging fully into the dark side he carries the green bladed saber. We kind of see this with Anakin when switches from traditional brown robes to a combat black attire.

But yes to answer you question I'm going to switch Corps Groups for June, July, & August for Cycle 3. And then I'm not sure I may keep that Corps for Cycle 4 and switch back for January 2012. I basically want to build some stuff for my wife and going these trippy glow stick MOCs has really gotten her more interested in my building. She really geeked out when we were at Sherway Gardens and Iain was raving to the Brick Chick because Brick Chick didn't recognize my username/know who I was.

Wow just wow. I wish i could have great ideas like this
