Life on Coruscant: Vos Gesal Street
After a long break from the series here's the largest of my Coruscant creations.
"Named for the legendary singing family who made their name in the area's earliest clubs and bars, the street was popular with singers, musicians, and entertainers."

It's not specifically based on the Vos Gesal Street from the film. But after looking at many shots of Coruscant, I figured the name would fit it nicely.

Nice vig! Love the random people on the streets of Coruscant. I noticed the shock trooper is in all your Coruscant vig! I like that fig! Well theres on thing I don't get is the yellow windows? Can you tell me what it supposed to be? Like as in a ref pic? Other than that, WONDERFUL vig!

Very curious about that stool technique. Can't quiet see it clearly.
Re: Life on Coruscant: Vos Gesal Street
This is for sure my favorite one in the series! The way you did that balcony is really nice, with all those sloped pieces under it. Really must of taken some time. The way you build thinks with basically no unnecessary studs is amazing, I'll never be able to snot that good.

It looks like a 2x2 curved/circle tile with a 2x2 curved/circle plate underneath. And I think under that there is a 1x1 stud.
Looks great Sabbarus! I really enjoy seeing the techniques you use in your builds.
Re: Life on Coruscant: Vos Gesal Street
Thanks everyone for the great comments.
As for the stool technique, I attached the handle to one of those Minifig pans to a jumper plate, with a circular tile placed on top.
This shot should help, Rook.
The handle fits nicely in between the grove in the side of the tile.

I'd say they're just "painted" wall. If you look at buildings in Coruscant, most aren't just gray. There's tons of color in the entertainment district excluding the neon lights.
Thanks again, Keep up the comments!

Agreed. That stool thing was a pretty genius idea.
Re: Life on Coruscant: Vos Gesal Street
A medium sized, compact MOC with a lot of creativity. I love it. One thing is, though, the picture's lighting seems a bit grainy to me (Perhaps it's my new computer? Or was it just the lighting?), so some light areas are not very clear. The seats are very nice, I would have never thought of that idea, as well as the flat circular piece fitting onto the pan.
As well, I have returned from this past year or so of not having a computer...

Yes, I don't know if I commented on flickr or not but that is wonderfully useful. Definitely will be adding that to my bag of tricks.
