Application Format and Rules

So you notice a lot of rule breakers before the Staff do? Think you could help keep the forum a clean, family friendly place? Being a member of staff comes with a host of responsibilities, such as helping new members, browsing the forums for a few hours a week, setting an example to other members and helping out with organising competitions.

A few rules:

• Must have been a Guild Member for at least 3 months
  
• One app per person
  
• You must use the format to be considered
  

We take all apps into consideration. If we don't accept you immediately, don't worry; these apps help us select new Staff members when we need them, which is not all the time.

Nice idea Fith. I like it.

But I definitely think there needs to be a distinction, there needs to be a special rank for these people, so they can uphold the rules, but they don't get to see some sections, like maybe a mod/admin section and the council room, that should be reserved for a select few. This way we have those who run the site, and those who "police" (for the lack of a better word) the site.

I intend this method not to replace the old method of hand picking people, but be part of it. People can express their interest in becoming Staff by posting an application, then when we feel we need new Staff we can pick from the active applications so we're sure we have someone who not only will be a good Mod, but wants to be a Mod.
