Well if you are confused by the angles then build a small walker.

Okay so if anyone saw my venator project, I failed horribly. At the start I had a sturdy design planned, however as pieces ran low I had to improvise. It became fragile and funny looking. So I said oh well, smashed it, and got a new project. I started to make an acclamator for my legion. It is very sturdy and is about one foot nine inches long. Nothing to brag about but I like it so far. Please give me advise, for I am still attempting to get into the guild.

The Acclamator's got a wider angle, methinks. That's more of an ISD's angle - a pizza wedge - not the big pie slice of the Acclamator Wink .

However do the top right, do the engine fin right, and I think you can hide it.

Well ever since TLC came out with the venator and I had no money, I planned to make something similar. Just to compensate for the fact that I couldn't afford it. So I'm sure without thinking about it this is slightly inspired by TLC's venator.

@Sial: Yeah I kind of realized that while reffering back to reference pics.

@INH: I actually started my venator project a little bit before Rook anounced his.

Thanks for the comments!

PS: I have a confession to make, I had no red pieces other than in my V19 torret, so I scrapped it and salvaged as much as I could. Oh, here is the referance pic I had been using..

At the begining of summer I decided a big project. The Venator. After scrapping 3 ISD I got this. It seems like everyone is working on flagships,so I decided to post it as a WIP.

Wow, you have quite the collection! It looks like its got a good shap going (Asuming your going to continue some on the back) and the size is really good. The sides look a little to tall, maybe 2 or 4 studs to many, and the little zig-zag on the side angles is a little annoying, but still looks awsome.

Looks great! The front should be more 'pointed' and the sides should be about half as high. I too agree that the zig zag is annoying. Wink

Thats pretty nice. I would make the sides about 2 studs lower and make the nose more pointed. If you have the AT-AP use the triangle pieces form the side that would look way better. Also make the middle a little less raised.

Thanks for all the comments. I have started the back where the hyperdrive is. I am also trying to get rid of the zig-zag.The only reason the height is so tall is because before I got this the plates all broke. So I needed a taller frame so the plates could come down instead of up. Wink
