The Clone Factory : Coming Attractions
Hey all,
I have been super busy working with the new fare offered in the Clone Wars sets. I have several updates that I would like to share for upcoming figures.
Captain Fordo
I just finished working with Mark at MMCB on a new pauldron and have succesfully been able to cast the new "rangefinders". I found the originals to be too long and have to many holes. Here is a small taste.
Commander Deviss
Just finishing up a new mold for the EP III helmet and trying to get the helmet painting down. here is a look at the decals and pauldron
Airborne Trooper
While I now know exactly how this will look I have yet to finish the final mold because of the other items I have been working on. This is almost a year in the making and will be worth the wait.
Mystery Figure
I have attempted this figure several times in the past and was never happy with the results, until now. Once finished this will be by far my best creation as well as the most detailed. I just finished a mock-up of the helmet this morning. MMMMMMMM....I can't wait to reveal.

Ok, I'm really excited to see the Mystery Figure CloneFactory!
Re: The Clone Factory : Coming Attractions
Would the mystery fig by any chance by a certain Commander Cody?

Axel, I wouldn't think it would be Commander Cody, because he has a normal helmet. Hmmm.... Who could it be?
Re: The Clone Factory : Coming Attractions
Commander Cody does not have a normal helmet. He has a helmet with a visor on it.

Would you not agree that that's rather easy to do what with today's Clone Wars lineup and the gear spread liberally through the sets?

...yes. Also, we should take into account that this figure will be very detailed. Now...who in the Star Wars universe has a unique helmet and needs lots of details? Guess away!

Hmm...could be, although Neyo's not really that detailed. I mean, he just looks like an 'Australian Post' Clone trooper with the modded helmet, that's all. On the subject of Neyo and his helmet, I contacted Arealight, and he said that a Neyo helmet is on his 'to-do' list! I can't wait!

Any reason Deviss has that beard? I'm pretty sure facial hair and all hair in general is not appreciated by any clone or soldier with a coverall helmet and a HUD. It would confuse the simple sensors within which are activated through so simple an action as clicking of teeth.
