This one is pretty bad, but I'm trying to get it off the ground and onto Saluceiami.

Its this weird plastic stuff, I bent it then glued it on.

Minor nitpick of the day! If he's a captain, wouldn't he lead a company, not a platoon? (e.g. Rex in TCW movie)

Anyway, this is nice enough for a set-up. Work on your star backgrounds, though - try reducing the brush to one pixel and not dragging it. Stars look really really small, in case you hadn't noticed.

I couldn't get the darn background to work, so I just used black and some white dots.
Fine, fine, I'll retcon it so hes leading a company.
I just need a name for it now...

But what if the lines in the background are the engines of other ships? It is a battle scene, is it not?

i really liked the rooms in the ship. Good wirk.

And those large slanted pieces are indeed very useful, it would seem.

It's pretty good, although some text is difficult to read.

Anyways, I agree that this one was not as good as the last one but it is still better than a lot of the other comics that new members are making.....
