Vigs and figs. VERY Image Heavy
I've been silent for a long time, so I thought, might as well share my older creations.
JAPANESE VIDEO GAMES!
Alrighty, so we've all seen the Japanese video games. Generally, they involve some random person who really comes from some ancient line of kings, has a pimped out magic sword, and spends their time fighting robo-samurai...
...Who, when you kill 'em, burst into flames and bleed like the Dickens until they explode...
...All while fighting above future Tokyo! Whew...
Next...
THE TANTIVE IV
We all remember that classic fight (I hope!) This shows three rebels putting up a fight. One lays dead, another is shot, and yet another takes cover.
Stormie (or security-camera) view.
Blurry Rebel shot. Perhaps you were shot?
Next up...
NAM!
The Vietnam war is one of my most favorite aspects in history. So here is a vig dedicated to it.
The VC (known by soldiers as "Charlie") were notorious for having dug thousands of tunnels across Vietnam. Here we see one now.
A group of Americans (who really need some brickarms ) cover their comrade as he prepares to enter the VC tunnel.
Now, we roll the credits *coughinstructionscough*
This shows how I made the Tantive IV.
The figs (Including two from a failed Indy Vig...)
Now, the second round of Vigs...
JOE VIG!
Joe Vig is about to take an unexpected fall...
Someone else has already fallen. Sucks to be them.
Next up...
This was created for a sci-fi world invented by Justin "Saber-Scorpion" Stebbins. It was based on events prior to his book G4M3: Shattered Reality. Terrific book.
This guy is a "Red", a Communist sniper.
Below him, neutral militia burn him out.
These guys are the Grey side, sorta like the militia in the above vig. They want nothing to do with the war going on between the Reds and their enemies, the Free's. Neither side cares about what happens to the Frey's, often bombing out their villages for weapons and women. Then they kill the women. Here you see a heavy gunner.
A commander and his bad-@$$ carbine.
The only good pics of the soldier and the driver/pilot.
FIGS
A crusader crossbowman and my castle sig-fig.
Battlefront Rebels.
Mr. Hyde and Victorian era James Bond. I think.
Whew! That was a lot of stuff...

That is a lot! A lot of the vigs were rushed, but the figs were awesome.

Re: Vigs and figs. VERY Image Heavy
I agree. They were varied in level of good work, but I really enjoyed some of them, the Nam one being my favorite.
Re: Vigs and figs. VERY Image Heavy
They are very simple but still pretty good.

Re: Vigs and figs. VERY Image Heavy
great, except one thing..... the torso on the greenish rebel. That is for Princess Leia (Hoth). Just thought I might as well tell you.
Re: Vigs and figs. VERY Image Heavy
Wow. That's a lot of great stuff. I do like the Nam vig the best, and the 'Greys' being my favorite group of minis. I do agree with Aki though. Some of the vigs seemed a little rushed. But great work overall!

Re: Vigs and figs. VERY Image Heavy
Which ones were rushed, Aki?
EDIT: And Mika Lin, that is what the Rebel trooper looks like in Battlefront. Leia's torso has many uses, because it does not display her curves or anything really.

Amazing purist weapons! And is it just me, or is that grey carbine possibly the best purist weapon ever??

Thats what I thought. I still know how to make it, but it was delicate as ****! Broke like ten times when I still had it.

Nice compile-ment of creations. Yeah that carbine is insane in a good way, I like that vig the best.
Just so you know, the title of this topic rhymes. It's true.

Ummm... that wasn't a vig, that the troopers were on... it just made displaying them easier.Clone Commander Charon wrote:Nice compile-ment of creations. Yeah that carbine is insane in a good way, I like that vig the best.
