HAAT-mg Dropship

Awesome! I think the top is a bit over-greebled compared to the rest of the ship. Still, I like it. And the containers, I think I should save some stickers for that as well.

So I spot some black kamas... like 10. How many of the 36 BPs do you have now?
I really want to get one now.

1. Yours looks blockily awful,(no offense) so comparing it to revo's is a little disparaging.

2. He asked what GAR meant, not what your MOC was. So I'm questioning your intentions here; whether to just show off your 'best work' on someone else's page or to answer a misread question.

No offense taken. I know when my stuff sucks compared to builers with skill. I was drawing comparisons, the tilted downwards cockpit, the bay to hold troops... I was commenting on how they looked a little similar. I wasn't comparing skill, merely traits. That was my intention, not to answer what GAR (Grand Army of the Republic) is. I'm pretty sure that's answered already though though.

To repeat myself: I was comparing traits of the two, not skill. I then said I was lame enough to advertize it, because I know that showing off your own stuff on other pages is usually not good, and I know what I was doing was not good. But I wanted to show the similarities of the two, not skill.

Thanks for all the comments so far guys! I've been pretty significantly flamed on the amount of intakes engines atop the ship- but I said there was a reason: speed! I think DP said I overgreebled the top a little bit, and I would agree...

CloneTrooper44- GAR stands for The Grand Army of The Republic haha. It's ok, we all have those days where we learn terms.

Darth Bizzle- I really wanted to make a parachuting clone but I don't have the pieces! I will in the short future though.

Darth Pineapple- I'm glad someone noticed the containers. I only have 9 battlepacks right now... 27 to go.

Awesome-o-saurus- I see the similarity and comparison you were trying to make. I don't believe you were trying to promote your own mocs or anything, and if you were it's not really appropriate but it's also not that big of a deal. I actually like the design of the ship you made- especially the two cylinders atop it with the missiles coming off the side. I'm glad you enjoy my dropship too.

Astor and Gerrard- I do not have unlimited pieces like I wish. I actually don't have very many and that's why I'm 'stuck' with smaller mocs. Some time this week I'm planning on doing a report on Lego using and building techniques with a low piece count. I'm going to take a picture of all my pieces and how I go about sorting them for easy use. Hope it'll help out and inspire because you really don't need a lot of pieces to create a great moc

No seriously, this is a great solution for those stickers! Did you buy the containers itself off BL? Or from a set? I only have 1 myself.

I really like the cockpit, and the detailing like the fire estinguisher. The open sides were also a great addition.

I like it a lot but the guns on the dropship cant really move, but good design.

I like it but too many engines and wings.

Why would he sell the troopers? They're regular Clone Wars troopers with a phase II pilot torso!

I think all those engines are a bit much, but I love that open troop area, and that medical bed thing is gorgeous.

It kinda resembles a republic shuttle. I like it.

Really nice! There are way to many engine though.

That ship is sweet! The medical capsule is very well done and the amount of troops it can hold amazes me!

Wow! This makes me want to go make a dropship! I love all the detail, even all the way down to the medical pod! Jeeze dude!
