Custom paratrooper with parachute

Phase 1 clone paratrooper. He has a custom helmet, it's not very good, but the main focus is the parachute. It's made out of a tough plastic bag (liquor store ones are the best for this) and some string. When he falls he goes fairly slow, but any wind makes it sway badly.

I won't be impressed until you can get the parachute to actually be stored by the trooper. All I see is a 2x3 that is supposed to look like it stores the chute.
However, congratulations on making a successful parachute, that should be fun.

Its pretty good but the clones don't use paratroopers. The just jump and then use jet packs to lighten the force when they're close enough to the ground. And the garbage/plastic bag is perfect for the chute. Oh and welcome to the guild!

I think the parachute would have to be pretty small for it to fit in a backpack, but if you want to try it, I'd love to see it I never knew they didnt use parachutes, I just kind of assumed they did because of the name, but rockets make way more sense.

It is a nice idea but Star Wars is just too high tech. When the were fighting for the Republic the jedi could just jump from pretty much anywhere. So the troopers adapted by free-falling until the were a few feat from the ground. Again it is a good concept but it doesn't fit. Love the air-bourne trooper by the way.

It's a good idea with the parachute but it is very big! Otherwise, it is a nice idea.

Actually, they use micro-repulsorlifts, but back on topic. I really like this guy, but it seems odd that he has a parachute as big as a SPHA laser.

I like the parachute, but it's probably better for a WW2 paratrooper than a SW airborne trooper. Nice idea though. I always wondered what a phase one airborne trooper would look like...
