WWII German BMW R75 Motorcycle with side car
I modified my Indy motorcycle and made a second one. I love the cutted backpacks on this, they look so much like the original ones.

Great job DP! Looks just like the real thing! And yes, you cut the backpacks pretty well.
Re: WWII German BMW R75 Motorcycle with side car
So that's what you needed the cut backpack for.
It looks really cool! I like the minifigures.

Nice job on cutting the backpacks and nice use of pieces.

Thanks guys! All credit for cutting the backpacks goes to my dad.

He used a knife yes, not X-acto. I've never seen that brand here.
He first used a small saw and then cut it smooth using the knife. I still have the upper part of the roll which I'm probably going to use as a German gas mask tube. (It contained a gas mask)

It's still just an idea so it might take a while .

Astor, I can't help it that BA doesn't make them in flesh.

Can't you just use yellow heads and hands?

I just LOVE flesh ones. So much better than yellow. Plus you barely notice.

Sorta just looks like they have yellow shirts underneath their grey ones. But I didn't really notice it when I first saw them, could you paint them that color?
Re: WWII German BMW R75 Motorcycle with side car
I kinda agree with Gerrard on this. Can you paint it flesh with model paint or...or... I DON'T KNOW! Just change the stinken darn color for once.

It's harder than you'd think. Getting paint that matches lego's flesh is pretty much impossible, and mixing it takes hours and a lot of paint. He can't change it everyone, Deal with it!
Re: WWII German BMW R75 Motorcycle with side car
You know what, he actually can. Because if you have a skinny ( I mean REALLY skinny) and have the right materials, you can change the color. Now I know its not that simple, trust me, I know, but it'll do you good dude.

I know too. I used to sculpt and paint everyday! Don't double post either. It's a free ticket to Ban-Land.
