541st Vendetta #8: Casulties

Okay, wrapping up the Battle of Cuipernam, and paving the way for the introduction of several new characters .

Another good comic by Sialboats! The story was great, but the SFX could use work.

The holograms were good, but I didn't like the cropped backrounds, they looked pretty tacky.

Wow Sial you have really outdone the amazing effects and plot into this story. I like it how the clones have their arms cut off and all that blood and gory is just so awesome!

Yeah, I ended up cutting a whole lot out of this comic because of that. I simply haven't quite figured out a good way to expand my battlefield. I'm thinking that some nice olive green towels as "tall grass" could be a possiblity. Like what I did with Chronicles and the "snow" .

Okay. So we've got a huge slew of characters hopping in, and I'm happy. But before we go anyfarther, take a breath and look at who you've got on the table now. look at Merc chick, get her to do something. What about those commando's that attacked the Holonet station. Come back to them. And that ship that was left all alone in orbit? The one that got attacked? What about them? Maybe take one comic away from your current story and look at them for a while. Those different gorups need to be mentioned again.


I really am excited to hear some Jedi mentioned. And another family member seems cool, though his sister has disappeared for the time being.

Zepher, come on, stop being a spoilsport, we know everyone already read the spoiler.

Anyhow, onto the comic.

I advise you don't use a blanket, for then half the MOC gets turned into a non-Lego element, and it derives a bit off the 'Lego factor'. It looks good with the baseplate, even if you have limited pieces (Which I doubt you do. ).

Onto the plot, I hope the Equinox bastard and McCulbert make a reappearance, and if that Arkanian civvie is alive by some chance, maybe a reintroduction (Memory loss, brain damage, whatever). Your battle scenes were quite good, but not as much SFX.

Oh, and you should obtain some more figs for your Equinox forces, they'd look badass in combat with the CIS and 541st.

Once again, great job Sial. Special effects are great, action and plot-line are great, good job.

@ Alphie: Well, if Zeph gets my expert chat out, I've got this wonderful picture in there of my current piece pool . You'd be suprised what I pull from and still maintain some origionality. I wish I could make more Equinox (if I had the pieces, there'd be more), but for now they will remain a leet commando force !
