Hummel (Self-Propelled Howitzer/Artillery)
Yay for WWII Tank WIP's that you probably don't want to see anyway.
It's my frist attempt at a camo scheme, tan with specks of dk. bley. I think it's working well so far. C&C welcome. Expect an update picture within a few hours.

This is coming along nicely, but the camo looks to "organized" in my eyes.
Re: Hummel (Self-Propelled Howitzer/Artillery)
Rusty tread. Break it up into some smaller sections and it will look like mud or rust.

Agreed, it doesn't really look camo to me.
The treads have been done nicely though.

Camo is supposed to look like that.

I forgot to mention the brown treads are only placeholders for now, just like the forward drive gear/wheel.
Updated.

Very impressive, I love WWII creations, and this seems to be coming togther quiet nicely.

Yes, I do. Looks like it is coming along nicely. Does it have an interior and are you going to close of the back section?PhiMa wrote:snip

Re: Hummel (Self-Propelled Howitzer/Artillery)
I think it looks great. But I think there should be some greebles in between the treads.

^It's not supposed to have any junk in the threads.
Nice. It's really accurate. I like the way you got the two walls upright next to the Howitzer. How are any Nazis going to sit with that slant in the back?

Re: Hummel (Self-Propelled Howitzer/Artillery)
^Sorry, my mistake . I meant greebles like inbetween the Sherman's treads.

No, sometimes I think it's an excuse for people to do very stupid things.
But I love the Hummel.

The Hummel's treads, I think, are just like how PhiMa has made it.

Rijulskywalker is correct. There are neither greebles nor 'junk' inbetween the treads and wheels. Go look up the real thing on google
Re: Hummel (Self-Propelled Howitzer/Artillery)
