Re: CABG Community Event: The Age of Light WIP
This is going to be amazing, I'm going to give you my light-side fig tomorrow because I have to do some updating with the software on my computer.
Re: CABG Community Event: The Age of Light WIP
Alright Rook, here is my light side sig-fig.

My sig-fig:
Bio: Kaleb Orion has fought droids on 12 different conquests. He fights not for the Jedi or for universal peace but to keep the faithful clone soldiers that defend the Republic alive so that they may be one day decorated the heroes that they are. Behind the hood, behind the stern gaze is actually a light hearted, yellow skinned Lovarxian. Through honour and bravery he has overcome the deadly reputation that his home planet holds...
Piece list:
Second phase clone body and legs.
'Balaclava' head.
Three lightsabers (1 Green, 1 Blue and 1 Orange ).
White 'hood'.

Re: CABG Community Event: The Age of Light WIP
Found this in a old thread I posted, laziness for the win. Rook in regards to the landing gear, best of luck. I'm a bit skeptical of each one being able to lift up to 15 pounds, I personally don't think it's possible.

You can put your figure up, it doesn't matter if you are in the guild or not for a reply. Also, your flag in your profile box has a U.S flag so you might want to change that.

Update 3
Ok got the initial framing on rear landing gear/engines. Last night I sat up late trying to work on some mathematical equations for some triangles: sine, cosine, tangents, and hypotenuses. Then I said frak it. “Just build it!” I can figure out the details in my subconscious. Next I'm probably going to do the framing for the tail.
Just ordered some more pieces too. My wife is going to kill me! But this is "her" ship. So nothing but the best... right?

If I am not mistaken I think it is Saese-tiin's.. I know that is probably not spelled right.

Actually, I believe it's Eeth Koth's Jedi Torso.

I forgot about him.. Now that you mentin it it sorta looks like it...
Re: CABG Community Event: The Age of Light WIP
Yes. It is Eeth Koth's. It just looks more orange than brown in that picture.
Re: CABG Community Event: The Age of Light WIP
Yup, it belongs to Eeth Koth. I thought he could do without it for a while.Hey anyone or Wickedskillz what torso is this from?
Re: CABG Community Event: The Age of Light WIP
Rook, I feel you may not be able to make this; nevertheless I'd really like to see him in your project.

Ah I wish. Those were my years in Brazil & Dark Ages. I can do it with a jack-o-lantern head.
I have one head from that series that won in contest. I think the host accidently sent DP and me each others prizes and we had to swap.

Update 4
Ok got the framing done on the tail. I've started plating the haul. I'm waiting on framing the nose until I have the majority of ship plated. This will help me see the angles a little better. Can't have the nose too pointed or too blunted. Minifigures that been posted have been constructed with slight alterations based on piece availability.

Anyway, good luck with this project. As usual, I forgot to contribute my minifig...

Yes please! We'd all love to see your progress. Even if it is just a teaser.LazerBlade wrote:Rook, get some pictures up!!
Re: CABG Community Event: The Age of Light WIP
I did a lot of pictures last year and that MOC failed to win MOC of month because it had no wow factor. So not sure how much if any pictures will released. But looks like I'm going to be on hold now for a few days with MOC MADNESS!

You make it sound like a easy win for you Rook.

It will not. But it is a must to at least enter. And I did win second last year. I'd be happy with at least third this year. I really want a FBTB t-shirt. Never know who you're going to have face in those final 32 though.

Update 5
Update 5
Ok so the SHIP is on the shelf and I have the framing complete on the MOC Madness entry. I've started its engine pods already and with any luck by the weekend it might be complete.
