STEN Mk.II and Walther PPK >Updated<
After looking at the new CW pistol for a long time the idea came to me to try and make some non-SW weapons with it.
What I eventually came up with was a STEN Mk.II and the famous Walther PPK. I also made another variant of the
PPK using a heavily modded Dark Bley harpoon gun as I thought that my other PPK was too big to be truly accurate.
Well enough of my ramblings, let's move on to the pics.
First up is my version of the STEN Mk.II sub-machine gun.
Description:
The STEN Mk.II was widely used by British and Free French forces during WWII. It's most notable features
were it's simple design and low production cost. Over 4 million STEN's in various versions were made during the
1940's. It was used by British military forces up until the 1960's when it was replaced by the Sterling SMG.
More info on the STEN is available form Wikipedia here.
Pieces Used:
(All pieces that were used are Dark Bley.)
Closeups of just the gun from different angles.
My SAS Operative with his prized weapon of choice.
Close up of just my SAS Operative without the STEN.
Now let's move on to my two variants of the most iconic Bond weapon, the Walther PPK.
Description:
Relaesed in 1931 the PPK was a smaller and more concealable version of the Walther PP. They were popular
with both civilians and police forces alike in Europe because of their small size. Being a German based weapon
they were natuarally issued to the German military and police, the Luftwaffe, and Nazi Party officials during WWII.
It was also the weapon used by Adolf Hitler to commit suiceide torwards the end of the war in the Führerbunker in Berlin.
More info on the Walther PP series of semi-automatic pistols is available from Wikipedia here.
Pieces Used:
(All pieces that were used are Dark Bley.)
Variant 1 (Purist)

Comments and Criticism are most welcome!

Back on topic, I like the way you did the first gun with the hands and such, but I don't like the cutting pieces part.
Re: STEN Mk.II and Walther PPK >Updated<
It's amazing what one can do with a few new gun molds and some minifigure hands. Thanks for sharing these!

I think fxer is joining my side of CABG >=) the aint NAZI rebelion.
Looks goods man, very good and I found another mod to the new blasters to make them look cool too if you guys care .
Re: STEN Mk.II and Walther PPK >Updated<
Nice work, likin' the semi-purist approach at WW2 weaponry. Although, if possible, I would try to elongate the clip. Can't think of anyway to do it at the moment, but I think that would greatly increase the resemblance to the actual weapon. Nice work.

Thanks t-c; did you really need to post two times to say that though?thunder-clone wrote:All the pictures are great and the first dude looks awesome.thunder-clone wrote:I like the guns, they are great.

Thanks Dy; now I know that you're Purist scum.darth yoda wrote:Back on topic, I like the way you did the first gun with the hands and such,

Thanks Sialboats; FYI, only the second variant of the PPK is completely Purist.Sialboats wrote:That's really good for purist!
Oh, and for future reference, don't quote an entire post with multiple pics as it clogs the thread up.

Thanks CC; and yes they all are except for the second variant of the PPK.Clonecommando007 wrote:Those both have cuts; they're not purist. But they're really good.

Thanks flare, and sure I'm interested in seeing it.flare wrote:Looks goods man, very good and I found another mod to the new blasters to make them look cool too if you guys care.
Also, I never yell at people for using bad grammar, I just correct their mistakes when I quote them.

Thanks Aridar; and yeah, I wanted to do that originally but I couldn't think of any pieces I could use.Aridar wrote:Nice work, likin' the semi-purist approach at WW2 weaponry. Anybody got some ideas?

I think I saw this weapon in an earlier moc? It looks pretty cool even though I'm not a fan of modding

Nope, they're all brand new creations.legorevolution wrote:I think I saw this weapon in an earlier MOC? It looks pretty cool even though I'm not a fan of modding.
It's good to hear that my modding skills were good enough to earn praise form a non-modder.
Seriously though, thanks!
