83rd Legion patroll on Illum

When I saw the snow outside, I ran inside, grabbed some troopers and a camera, an snapped a picture of this.

Another great use of the environment...

Reminds me a lot of DP's snow pictures. I don't like the Hasbro helmet it is a different shade of white and looks ugly on a minifig.

Moved to the Techniques forum because this isn't a creation - it's a technique with the enviroment.

Seriously, get that fig with the Hasbro helmet out of your Legion - it's ugly.

Anyway the pictures look a lot like mine, I usually take some pics of Lego in snow as well.

Also, why are there both Phase I and II?

I really like that techniqe.

Take off that ugly hasbro helmet! It is ugly and doesn't fit in with lego!

Well when it snowed here in NJ it was gone by 3:00! But seriously get that helmet out! It's ugly and it's WAY too big!

I was thinking of doing that,because in New York we get a ton of snow. But that hasbro helmet,like everyone else said, is way too ugly.

I think that it is time to explain that... In the 83rd, Special troopers or commanders may wear Phase I armour.

For example, L'tenant Jeff and his platoon wear Phase I.

Why does he needs to have a 212th airborne helmet at all? Just use his original helmet...

Or you could use a slushie maker...

And Cln , if you want to make a cheap airborne trooper, try doing what I did with my Stormtrooper...

I never really thought snow would look like that. I always imagined it as inhosipitible dirfts of hard, white material packed thick, that would yield when walked through. That looks so... benign!

This is quite a cool tecnique! The only problem is that I only get about 1 day of snow where I live...
