541st Vendetta #5: Frustration
Yah, I've been spoling you all with 20 pane comics lately, haven't I? This ones' a bit smaller . Mind the postioning of some of the text bubbles, still trying to perfect height and alignment. Thought regardless of height, left-alignment would be read first... but, I thought wrong .
Re: 541st Vendetta #5: Frustration
Not too bad. But ease off on cursing next time OK? I'm not really offended or anything, it just makes you sound like scummy bastard, you know what I mean?

Well that's how Ied's batch instructor was . I wouldn't curse unless I wanted to make an impression, now would I ?

Wooh! Action!
That was awesome Sial! Effects were top-notch and the set design was perfect!
I absolutely LOVE that news on TV (holonet) effect!

I hate these kind of uncivilized and unthought of text responses.
It's a BLOODY WARZONE!
Onto the comic, it was pretty daamn good, I see you've included your Battlefield entry, eh? I guess we'll be seeing more 815th officers...

Great job on the effects, and I like the joke about the public school! Did you use all GIMP for the news report? That was frakin' amazing!
Re: 541st Vendetta #5: Frustration
Hehehe, its battle line Charlie, your battlefield entry, isn't it?
Great comic, I loved the holonet broadcast.

I really like the idea you had with the news station airing the CIS propoganda. Great job once again on the effects and *fake* lighting.

Pretty cool, Sial! This is becoming pretty good, we're finally getting some real action!
Although, why do all the major characters have a British accent?

Not all characters, do. It's mostly for realism. If the CO has a accent, and the clones are bred to learn quickly, they may learn the accents of those they associate with, if they haven't picked up a speech pattern already.
Ied = Scottish (from instructor).
Turaki = British (from family heritage)
Clones = Varies; some do, some don't. Those that do got it from Turaki
Equinox Commandos = Mostly American, few Asian.
Trek = British (from Turaki)
Captain McCulbert = American
Young Girl = American
Lieutenant Commander Amador = American

Well, almost all of them say bloody, but alot of English speaking Europeans do...

Re: 541st Vendetta #5: Frustration
It wasn't intended as a joke , but rather a statement about what the clones have missed out in life, and how differently they've been affected by it.
When was the last time you've seen a thirty-fourty year old adult ready to kill because someone called them a bad name ?

I like the GIMPing the building and debris is cool as well. An average for your standard.
