The Invasion of Ingration Part 4: Control
Thanks so much for Alfi for doing the Lightsaber effects! I'm sorry it took so long, there shouldn't be a wait for one of these again for a long while Sometimes people just need breaks, and I needed one. I currently have a headache, and I've only been back to school for one day...
Well, enough whining! Without further adeiu...
Hope you liked it! I'm trying something with this comic that no one else does, which is no narrator in the corner. Only the character's speak, and sometimes you get a location.
As for those of you who are new, or forgetful, Vimpu (Twi'lek) captured Versilles and Marik and have them in whatever his base is. Gruff and Old Papa were meant to capture a CIS control base, which would shut down half the droids. That's where they are right now.

Great comic, more actions, more problems, I hope the commander make it out alive.

I hope you do what no one else on CABG has really done and have the whole Republic mission fail, almost all the clones die, and the Seps win... Not likely though. I'll still follow this though/

I really like this comic! The subtle GIMPing really improves the feel of it!
I do hope this'll be another one of those: All clones die boohoohoo!

That is what I'll do. But, two make it out. Not a lie. My story will be really sad..Anyway, nice comic, Zeph! I like the problem. Save the Jedi and clone, or save the planet. The lightsaber effect was great! The base was cool too. Good work Zeph, it had a very good script and a nice set.
Re: Episode 5: The Invasion of Ingration Part 4: Control
The comic itself is nice, but honestly, a CIS commander is going to know that the Republic won't leave the planet just to spare two peoples lives. I doubt they'd even ask, but, hey, whatever.

Re: Episode 5: The Invasion of Ingration Part 4: Control
Of course they won't. He knows that! He's just torturing them with the fact that to win will most likely cost them they're friends lives!
I'll get into Vimpu later, but one of the pieces about him is that he wants to prove that the Republic isn't as good as thy make themselves out to be. He's giving them a choice, and either thing they choose screws someone.

Re: Episode 5: The Invasion of Ingration Part 4: Control
It actually depends.
Either the personel being held captive has high authority (Senior Jedi General, Clone Marshal Commander, Admiral), or he doesn't.
They're not gonna risk losing the mission because of a low-command idiot who got captured (RegiCmdrs, Padawan, Captain).

Re: Episode 5: The Invasion of Ingration Part 4: Control
I doubt anyone would sacrifice a planet, even to save a high ranking commander.
Especailly not Gruff.

Re: Episode 5: The Invasion of Ingration Part 4: Control
Meh, it just depends how cold-hearted your generals are.
The most obvious situation is to have your Twi'lek General actually start harming Versilles, then have your troops move off the planet, but then send the 'ZOMGELITEZFORCE' down to rescue him.

Not quite happening in mine... not too close, but not overly far either.
You'll see!
As I said, the next episode's already almost done, so there shouldn't be a wait!

Please don't give us the 'I want more attention so I give my comics a week' crap.

Re: Episode 5: The Invasion of Ingration Part 4: Control
It's not a question of attention.
It's a question of schedule, and of time.
I build sets Sundays (mostly) and whenever else I can find time.
I GIMP about half on Tuesdays (First freeday of the week).
Thursday (second Free-day) I release the teaser using the stuff GIMP'd Tuesday, and then GIMP another 1/4th.
Saturday, my next free day, I GIMP 1/4th and release it.
That's how I do it. If I can get ahead, great, but the schedule will stay the same.

Plot development, more plot development, and did I say plot development? We tie up the infiltration of the city thread, while unraveling the one behind the capture of our Jeedai friend .
I really don't have much more to say but that, and the fact that it was a good MOC .

I can't tell if this is a good or bad thing, but I'm going to go ahead and assume that it's good

More of a bridge comic although the blast in the wall was great!
