F-Wing
Ah this is why I don't post much anymore of FBTB. I posted this on a couple days ago. So far I have 12 comments on EB and this on FBTB:
Notice the MOC with the most amount of comments has only 19 comments.
For Guild Build: Deploy & Alphabet Project
Republic Forces land behind enemy lines on Kashyyyk in their F-Wing Recon Shuttle.
Jedi Master, "Land the ship in that dried up steam bed."
Jedi Knight, "Cover the ship with foliage."
Clone Squad Commander, "AT-RT's are ready to be deployed."
Jedi Master, "Deploy the AT-RT's and keep the engines on standby."

Re: F-Wing
I see you're using that rubber band around kama technique, I saw it on Mocpages, where did you?
Re: F-Wing
Thank you for puting it up here. It is great. The engines on the side are small to me. The foliage on it is great, funny it is so herd to see the "F" wing with the foliage on it . "Land the ship in that dried up steam bed"
Land the ship on its side so it looks like a leter "F".

Re: F-Wing
Woh! Nice work Rook.
I'd like to see a Pic of it, when it is not covered in green stuff. You haven't got a Flickr Link, have you? I'd like to Fave it for me, so I don't look in this thread everytime I wanna see it.
Nice Work again

Oh now where's the fun in that.
Ok for those of you that might not have the time to look in the gallery, here it is:

Yea I saw it like that last week or so.
Re: F-Wing
Woo! Finally Rook! I thought you were neglected us here at your home site. I saw it first over on Eurobricks and I thought the ship was crashed into the mud and thought that it was a pretty cool idea. Now I see that the ship was just landed down in the dry riverbed. Good work with covering the whole ship with camo, though I'm not sure how effective that would be in the Star Wars universe with all the advanced technology they have. Landscaping was well done too, good work with the dry riverbed and showing people that there's more to Kashyyyk other than giant trees and swamps. The ship itself is so tight, I can't get over how it lands and all the angled wings you've added. There's also the perfect amount of greebling and incorperated printed pieces on the ship. Do all the Walkers fold up and fit inside? By far my favorite moc of yours. Well done sir.
Re: F-Wing
I find all the colors in the stream bed kind of dizzying. I would also expect alphabet wings to be more along the lines of fighter type craft, even so the design looks nice, and well built.

So you saw it from mine, I'm not with you here.
Re: F-Wing
This reminds me distinctly of a VTOL craft from the actual world. I have a hunch that building the central spine was rather difficult. It has to function as a hangar bay, a cockpit, and a support structure for the various protrusions. However you did it, it's very impressive that this beast can stand on it's own. The coloration is nice, the shape is smooth, and it's ability to hold those AT-RT's makes me drool.
Bravo!
Bravo!
Re: F-Wing
Man Rook, this looks awesome, that design is cool how it's at an angle but it still has the shape of an "F", I can't wait to see what your J wing would look like.

Re: F-Wing
When I saw this it was instantly one of my favorites of yours along with the M-Wing. The detail you pack in these are great! Excellent job!
Re: F-Wing
Finding the AxA + BxB = CxC was a bit hard. Not sure how many whole integers fit into that equation. Anyone know? When "C" < or = 200?
I know of 3, 4, & 5 and 6, 8, & 10. And I used both in this MOC. 3, 4, & 5 for the frame and 6, 8, & 10 for the cockpit floor.

Re: F-Wing
When I saw the first post I figured it was an F-Wing two ways, like the K-Wing: left to right and right to left. But funnily enough your post displayed a third way of seeing the F.
It looks like a good-sized transport for one of the 41st's AT-RT squads: the fact that AT-RTs can fit inside is itself excellent.

This is pretty cool, and it looks massive huge. It must have taken forever to build. Here comes and F-wing one liner, get ready to drop the F bomb <<<-----Very funny. Don't forget you're punctuation next time. --R
