Behind Enemy Lines
Well, that's it! Next time we finally get a battle. And yes Phima, I bought 2 battlepacks . I promise, no more intro to the planet, and at the most one more flash back this season, if any. Which means a lot of flshbacks for you next season Hope you enjoyed, please leave a comment, and remembr, I'm still working on learning Mist.

Pretty cool! I love the idea of a protocol droid doing the briefing. That assasin droid is cool, but I would change the helmet.

Very nice Zeph.
I actually really enjoyed this one.
And I love all the effects you're trying out.

The snow effects are certainly the best part in the comic! It's looking much better than some of the previous ones.

No.
Absolutely not. The Zukla is a skeletal alien race with horns? That dark jedi isn't a givin? Aside from that little bit I find annoying, pretty good comic, sets up the planet nicely.

Mmmm. It's nice to see that you're bridging together the various episodes of your comic by establishing a cannon, and recurring characters. I look forward to seeing our Dark Jedi being refined more as a character - than just a baddie. Somehow, I thought the Zukla, and the human colonists would be a bit more involved of a people, but that was just a vain hope . New Padawan arrived, interesting to see what she develops into.
As for the fog, at least I think you said it was fog - I think that it's a bit too chunky to be that. A heavier Gaussian blur, or some airbrushing would be a bit better in the spark brush's stead. It looks more like snow... unless, it is supposed to be snow .

Sadly, I had never heard of the Given, but luckily, it's my comic. Seriously, it is way more fun to make a new culture than research an already made-up one.

Trust me, the Zukla and humans, namely Parker and the Head Zukla, will both have major parts in the upcoming comics, but we don't want to intro too many character's in one go.
Gaussian blur does not work very well on my computer, I have no idea how to use it, and it sometimes freezes (which is why I have to ask Alpha to make my saber's). However, if you would like to help me out and teach me how to make fog covering your way, please do. I personally love my way, especially now that I'm starting to under stand how to do it!

I'd actually love to see your technique unfold. Don't let me stop you from developing your own methods .

Then you'll never get this: What the Helrot do Zukla have to do with Givin?
To be fair to Zeph, the Lego skeleton head doesn't really resemble a ghosty ghost. And since they have horns... (though the Zukla could be predecessors to the Givin)

Re: Episode 16: Behind Enemy Lines
Extremely pleasing as always. Keep working an you might be as good as Sial, and that's a big MIGHT.
Re: Episode 16: Behind Enemy Lines
Thank you for the compliment, but please, stop comparing me and Sial.
Re: Episode 16: Behind Enemy Lines
I'm really sorry about that. You're really good at GIMP and I like how you executed the fog, and it's a good story builder.
Re: Episode 16: Behind Enemy Lines
Okay, I'm tired from commenting on Sial's, so I'll keep this brief:
1.) Keep text the same size, otherwise it looks like people are whispering and shouting for no reason. If you have trouble keeping it in a speech bubble, you've got too much text. Trim it down and try to write the way people speak, not the way they write.
2.) Work on the sets a bit. The planet isn't too bad, although try making use of vertical space as wel as horizontal. When I think of mines, I think of big pits and mineshafts, not a ground-level building with a conveyor belt/whatever. Also, the official LAAT/i stook out a bit too much for me. You really shouldn't use the interiors of official sets unless they're really good. They'redesigned for play, not to be used as a comic set. Either heavily modify it or build a seperate set if you want it to look good.
No real problems with the plot in this episode; it's a lot more comprehensible here than in the last few, although it's still fairly basic compared to some of the stuff Sial's putting out. Maybe try to individualise the characters' personalities a bit more, but that's not a major issue right now. Time will tell if it's gonna become one.
