The Story of Mendex Prime
Kamino has adjusted it's all terrain training chamber to mountain mode. Several squads of Clone Commandos are suited up in their prototype armor, and issued prototype weapons: The guns that will soon become the DC-15 and DC-17 weapons. This is to be a live fire exercize...The commandos take up spots in the mountains and cliffs.
One commando, RC-1008, nicknamed 'Mendex' sits behind a mountain, waiting for the exercise to begin.
Without warning, from the other side of the arena, a clone discharges his blaster before the start of the exercise. It impacts Mendex in his torso.
Mendex falls, and the exercise begins. No clones can take the time to help him.
After the exercise is over, the Mandalorian commando instructor surveys the battlefield. Looking around, he sees the fallen trooper, and walks towards him.
He soon realizes that this is Mendex; his favorite of all the clones he instructs. He takes pity on the trooper, and realizes that the Kaminoans will not take heed to a single fallen trooper so early in the growth cycle.
The Mando'a instructor breaks code, and takes a stolen ship back to Mando'a, with Mendex aboard. He finds his old friend, Garba, and lands near his residence. He takes Mendex about repulsor stretcher to the small house.
After much conversing and arguing, the instructor manages to persuade Garba to take care of Mendex, to make and shape him into a Mandalorian.
The instructor departs, not looking back, knowing he will probably never see Mendex again.
As luck would have it, however, Garba Prime developed an attachment to Mendex. He trained Mendex in the ways and tactics of the Mandalorians; and outfitted him with all green armor, a symbol of a warrior. He later adopted the boy, and thus Mendex recieved a last name, to go with his first:
Mendex Prime
Later, the Republic would hear of Mendex's assasination work, and shortly after the Battle of Geonosis, they would send a jedi after him. After all; he was a clone, and they had paid for him.
Thus the Republic inherited their first real Mandalorian Warrior.
Mendex will be featured in many of my 222nd legion scenes.

Nice job! And great backstory too! I look forward to seeing Mendex Prime appear in some of your upcoming work.

Nah actually I just did this to show everyone where he came from. The MOCing actually sucks. Just threw it together.

Its very good... a few more bricks for rocks and it would be an awesome landscape.

Clones actually wear training armor during exercises that is different from their actual battle armor. I really like the storyline! But Mendex Prime sounds more like a planet then a person.

Nice clone armor! It does look a little weird but never-the-less it still is a great idea. I love the story, the pics possibly could use a little more detail, but Mendex Prime (I must agree) sounds like the name of a planet
Re: The Story of Mendex Prime
A very interesting and original story CC-007. While the landscaping is indeed minimal at best, the storyline more then makes up for any misgivings.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of Mendex in the near future.
