Re: CABG Community Event: The Age of Light WIP
I'm kind of digging the last one. Looks like an equalizer kind of.
Re: CABG Community Event: The Age of Light WIP
Maybe you could take off the border and just do an equalizer. Maybe black and green instead of purple. Cheers!

Update 8:
Ah! Worthless weekend spent running to and fro. But Sunday I got some good stuff from the Fairview Lego Store grand opening. Hung out with some Flickrites. Then got sick on Monday. Tuesday did some work on the Ship. Wednesday did a lot of work on the ship. Back at work today because I had some appointments I couldn't miss. Camping this weekend with a low -3C. Thinking about not stay overnight.

Re: CABG Community Event: The Age of Light WIP
Had to do a PaB for some more white slopes last week. Hopefully it’ll arrive this next week.
Re: CABG Community Event: The Age of Light WIP
I find the lack of pictures in this thread a tad mean and slightly perverted.
pist - if you ever need emergency pieces to finish something in a short time period - I have been known to extend loans

Dude it's huge with detail! The tail section alone is larger than Imperial Shuttle. We're looking at January or February before it's finished. Anything good can't be rushed, except quickies. By nature they're rushed.

UPDATE #9
Ok what's better getting one penny a day for the next 1000 years or someone giving you $3650.00 around Christmas this year!
Besides I just posted pictures last week.
PS: Same thing applies to would you rather someone gave you a car in 10,000 parts or fully assembled.
But I'm a good guy usually, here's some more teasers.
Here's rebuild I had today. I wanted all the studs facing out but when it cam time for applied physics, I needed more support across a bottom ridge. So I had flip the bottom to studs up and then apply a row of technics beams that would be linked to the base of rear landing pads.

What you don't like my lunch and soda!?
And yes you made my point. I rarely find looking at WIPS very interesting unless you're helping the person improve what they're working on.
Re: CABG Community Event: The Age of Light WIP
Weird they were there when I replied to you. I'll post them again. Looks like links might be broken.
Re: CABG Community Event: The Age of Light WIP
Yeah I just copied the URLs from an email. Looks like the links expired or were deleted.
Re: CABG Community Event: The Age of Light WIP
The last pic is quite interesting... Can't wait to see what they'll turn out to be.
Re: CABG Community Event: The Age of Light WIP
Wow between wife's surgery, camping, & in-laws moving this project has been put into the deep freeze. Also picked up a few sets that I need to deal with as well. Hoping that December brings some hours to work on this. Still aiming for the end of January hopefully to finish this one.
Re: CABG Community Event: The Age of Light WIP
urgh. the tiny pictures make me mad.
So much details and awesomeness that I can barely squint at...

Sorry only had my iPhone on me. And sent out small files rather than original. Good news is that come Thursday the choas of the last 3 weeks will be over and hopefully I'll be returning to the work bench.

UPDATE! #10
Wow almost torched the whole build over the holidays. So many issues with this build including lack of pieces and trying to narrow down tons of ideas floating around. I don't think I'm going to finish the interior of this one, nor do I really don’t want to take it to any cons. It was great idea just poorly executed this time. Too bulky and not enough white in my collection. I have several parts I have to rework. Never the less I'll get some actually WIP shots up soon. Hopefully that will inspire to finish it. I definitely finding my niche to be less than more. I hate not having enough of the right pieces. I'm starting to realize the 50 studs range is perfect. I can build one about every 1-2 weeks. The +100 "SHIP" category just takes too long! I can see it in my mind but can’t build it without a lot more bricks and a lot of free time which I don’t have anymore with this new job.
