Apparently this thread is more ~~loving~~ of a GIMP thread. Photoshop has different tools and last I checked this is a Photoshop and GIMP thread. So in order for me to use all the tutorials I'd have to get GIMP when I paid good money for Photoshop. So please post Photoshop how to's too.

That's one reason why there's so many GIMP tutorials... It's free, so more people have it. I only know of about 3 people on here that have it. Wink

I'm just actually trying to do the hologram tutorial and did everything up to where the colors icon. Photoshop doesn't have a colors icon... so pretty much if anyone that has photoshop and has done the Hologram tutorial on photoshop if you could help me that would be just really great.

Photoshop is better than GIMP. Photoshop has a magnetic lasso (path tool for you GIMPers) and much much more... Laughing

There are no resizing programs, that don't just resize in pixels, for a Mac. So it looks like I shall have to buy MS word.

This is how you do it. Go to Image>>Scale Image. Enter Proportions. BAM! Resized decal.

If you're trying to resize decals to the exact size in GIMP, all you do is: Image>>Print Size>> then punch in the size for whatever you're resizing. Here's the guide incase you don't have it memorized by now: http://www.fbtbforums.net/viewtopic.php?t=5504

It is ok if it took just a few minutes to do this, as long as it looks good. I wish I could do something like that when I'm just bored, but photoshop hates me (the editor made an alliance with my ancient digi-cam to plot against me).
