I've got three SBDs. On each of them one of their arms are broken at the junction (flimsy plastic ), requiring me to hot-glue them on, or have armless SBDs . Now, if I were to do what I would do what I'm thinking your recommending to the AT-RTs (beef up the center strut, the bley robot arms, by connecting two of the SBD arms to the technic piece in the center, encasing that strut. Continue to branch upwards and downwards with additional, appropriate, elements), I'd need all my SBD arms (and then some, if I'm not mistaken) in perfect condition - provided I wanted to sacrifice them for my AT-RTs .
And the arms are this ugly, glossy bley - and not the dull bley that would allow it to match with the walker .
