I Have the Death....

Not my best work but I had to do something for the contest.

One of my favorite scenes is the one of Dr. Evazen when he tells Luke that he has the death sentence on 12 systems. I just changed him to Indiana Jones and Wala! You have an entry. I was going to have the little asian kid as the person who doesn't like Luke but I couldn't find him.

Until you provide clearer pictures, I refuse to comment on the MOC.

However, how does your creation compare to the dingy, dilapidated, scum and villain-packed watering hole we saw in that scene?



Dr. Ezevan doesn't look like he looked in the movie, the Cantina backdrop is dubious at best, and the bar isn't cluttered with spent drinks and the dispensers thereof. It's resemblance is not very striking .

Sial basically summarized what I wanted to say (how many times has that happened??)

So yeah, use more pictures of the actual scene before you start building.

It's for the contest, I had to have indy in there somewhere. Well, maybe I will update.

Lighting and GIMP. Two of the most efficient ways to replicate a scene.

Use them.

And secondly, this doesn't look like the cantina at all.

When I read the title I wondered if this was a castle MOC where someone was saying I have the black death! or some such thing.

But this is sadly the opposite... and far worse.

Please, look at a reference picture first.

If you don't believe me, just look at my sonic screwdriver, and then the HOB stick. The sonic screwdriver was what I thought the HOB stick looked like. The HOB stick is what it really looks like.

Well alright, I guess ill give it another go.
