Diamond Death
I didn't know which catagory to put this in, but here it is. Hope you like it. It was for a school project.

Re: Diamond Death
Looks cool! I think this goes in the "techniques" thread, I like it, but the stop-motion is a little choppy.

Re: Diamond Death
I'm not a fan. Black and white, bad voices, and bad stop action. Nice and long though.
Re: Diamond Death
The video is long, but it seems to be that way only because it's about one frame per five seconds. I think you need a lot more frames, sorry.

Re: Diamond Death
Yes it are a bit too few frames, as C007 said. Other than that it is good.

Re: Diamond Death
It was a school project, so it had to go with the story. It was based in the 1940's so that's why it's black and white.
Re: Diamond Death
Yes, I got the black and white well. That part is good.

Re: Diamond Death
Yeah just more frames! It takes practice before you get good!

Re: Diamond Death
I'm not a movie maker myself, so I'm not one to talk, but about 2 frames a second should be the minimum number of frames you want.

Re: Diamond Death
Right the more frames per second, the smother the final product, also move characters SLOWLY across the screen, otherwise it will appear that they will "jump" around in the final product. Patience is VERY important when working with stop-motion!

Re: Diamond Death
It would have been better if I had enough time to do it. I only had about a week and a half. My whole grade liked it though.
Re: Diamond Death
That's understandable, It's good that they liked it. But for future movies I'd take a little more time for better quality.
