B-wing mini

Fresh from my dark age!
I was inspired by legohaulic's B-wing, and wanted to get building again. Once I got the engine intake, it was smooth sailing, that is, until I reached the cockpit. I'm not totally happy with the wing connections, but it'll do for now. I wasn't able to get the pods right above the engine block either, but I couldn't think of a way to get them in there.


I've been suffering from major builders block for a couple weeks, so it is nice to be building again.

I love the use of the castle helmet! Great job on it, and I like how it actually 'functions'.

I love the entire shape and how well it flows! Great work!

And now I FINALLY know that Tbone_tbl=BlackNinjaStorm.

The helmet as the cockpit bubble, I believe, makes this mini. It isn't astounding or built on a level that few of us could ever emulate, but it's definitely a work of time and a exemplar of thorough, quality building .

Engines are indeed impressive, but the model indeed feels too chubby, almost chibi. Bonus points for the creative cockpit solution though.

It does look a little too fat now that you mention it, I'll see if I can fix that, for v2.

I was always a fan of the ship, and this is quite a nice rendition. The cockpit is a genius use of the piece, and the positioning of the hands on the central hull is also excellent.
