MOC Feedback for New Members

Firstly, that road is <3.

Second, add some control panels in the observation room up top. On the bottom have some pipes and stuff.

Do that and I think you;d have a pretty good MOC for 1 of your 3.

Tan with a few 1x2/1x1 Dark tan plates?

alrighty.. about 6 hours later I have 3 vinegettes.. true ones this time.. that could pretty much fit in to any place in the universe. see if you can find the one thats movie based

I also noticed that after posting.. the one with the clones and the one with the commandos look pretty similar but still what do you think of the compound section item?

Well.. I think it is still very plain.... Maybe take away some of the larger plants, add a few hills, and then some small stalk pieces.

thanks C.J for your input.. but as a builder on a budget and a mom that's uptight about tech.. it's complicated for a bricklink order conversation to get through.. grrr.... any ways a made a larger version of the "grass lands" MOCs

OK. People commonly put "rubbish" or "debris" in vignettes like these. IMO unless your doing Raxus Prime I suggest staying away from things like that. I know budget can be hard, but if you can get these added.

MORE green plates to layer the ground so the ground isn't perfectly flat.

Compress the plants and make a path possible to the outside of a building such as a outpost/base door. Side door, wall, whatever, but something other than land since you don't have enough plants to make this full.

Less clones. 2-3 more droids. Too many clones in this MOC.

I would really put emphasis on the green plates to layer the ground. That its self adds a lot to a good MOC.

they might, but I have a lot of those I actually used the layering technique, can't really tell for the images that I posted here though.

I'm getting pretty good at this taking advice thingy ..next update away!

(now that I look at it it looks a lot better with the plates)

Very nice, still a little plain but much better. Next step is to get some good rocks on the ground.

And get a better backdrop.

Okay, here's my attempt at a simple MOC after a long Lego hiatus. I intend to integrate some of it into a larger vignette sometime, but here it is, barrage me with constructive criticism !
